Manage Your Tracking Preferences

Non-essential analytics and marketing trackers remain blocked until you opt in. You can change your choice anytime.

1. What Are Cookies and Tracking Technologies?

Cookies are small data files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used by web developers to make websites work efficiently, protect security, remember preferences, and provide analytical reporting.

In addition to HTTP cookies, we may use related browser technologies including local storage, session storage, and conversion pixels (such as Meta Pixel and Google Consent Mode v2 signals). In this policy, we refer to all these technologies collectively as “cookies and trackers.”

Under applicable data protection laws (such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, and California CPRA), non-essential cookies require your prior affirmative consent before being stored or executed on your device.

2. Categories of Trackers We Use

Essential for basic site functionality, bot protection, CSRF mitigation, server load balancing, and remembering your cookie consent choice.

4. Real-Time Dynamic Enforcement & Consent Mode v2

Chatley implements modern consent governance standards to ensure tracking signals respect your choices immediately:

Google Consent Mode v2 Integration

Our website initializes Google tags with analytics_storage: 'denied', ad_storage: 'denied', ad_user_data: 'denied', and ad_personalization: 'denied'. No analytic or advertising data is transmitted unless you select “Accept All” or enable those categories in the preference centre.

Meta Pixel Dynamic Script Injection

The Meta Pixel tracking library (connect.facebook.net/en_US/fbevents.js) is not downloaded or run by your browser unless you explicitly provide affirmative consent for Marketing cookies.

5. How to Change or Withdraw Your Consent

You maintain total control over your cookie choices at all times. You can modify or withdraw your consent using any of the following methods:

  • Preference Centre Button: Click the button at the top of this page or anywhere in our interface to launch the preference modal.
  • Persistent Footer Link: Every page on our website includes a permanent “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Clicking it reopens the preference centre instantly.
  • Browser Cookie Management: You can configure your browser to reject cookies or prompt you before accepting cookies. If you delete cookies from your browser, your saved consent record will be cleared, and the banner will appear on your next visit.
  • Global Privacy Control (GPC): Where supported by your browser, we recognize GPC signals as an automated opt-out request for non-essential tracking and advertising categories.
